Data-Med CC is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website.
Why we collect it
We use enquiry details only to answer a practice and to arrange the consultation that was asked for. We do not want patient information in these forms, and we do not sell or share the details for marketing.
What the contact form collects
If you complete the consultation form, it asks for your name, practice name, email, phone, practice type, practice size, current billing setup, the best time to reach you, the contact method you chose, and any message you type. A call-back includes the day, window and number. Ticking the POPIA consent box confirms that you agree to us using the details you send us. The form on this website does not send or store that information.
Microsoft Bookings and Teams
Teams consultations are booked through Microsoft Bookings. Microsoft processes the name, email, phone, chosen time and any booking notes for Data-Med as an operator. That information may be stored or processed on servers outside South Africa under Microsoft's safeguards. Read Microsoft's privacy statement.
If you contact Data-Med on WhatsApp (061 455 8002), Meta processes that conversation under WhatsApp's own terms. Please do not send patient information on WhatsApp or in the booking notes.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager to count visits and see which pages are used; we don't ask it to collect form contents or patient information. It uses cookies. Read Google's privacy policy.
How long we keep it
The consultation form on this website does not send or store what you type into it. A Teams booking is stored in Data-Med's Microsoft 365 account. Records Data-Med holds are kept only as long as needed to handle the request and any follow-up the practice asks for, then deleted or de-identified.
Your rights
You may ask Data-Med CC for access to personal information we hold about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. You may also complain to the Information Regulator if you believe your information has been handled unlawfully.
